I was debating going here. I've wanted to go since it opened a few years ago, the place looks cool and I was curious. However, a friend of mine had come, albeit a few years ago, and basically said the food was terrible and I've avoided the place ever since. On top of that if you look at the reviews on here and on yelp the place is poorly rated with many what seems to be unhappy customers. On the other hand, I like mexican food but the standard mexican food in vegas is very standard and not really exciting so I was excited to try something more like mexican fusion. My girlfriend suggested we try it so we could decide for ourselves.

Pulling into the place there were a decent amount of cars so that was a good sign. Inside it wasn't crowded however and we were seated right away. We chose to sit outside and the ambiance was nice. The waitress brought our chips and salsa right away and took our drink order quickly. The tortilla chips were warm and there were three types of salsa, a sweet one, a green salsa, and a spicy one, all pretty good. I ordered a grapefruit maragarita and it was pretty good, not too sweet and no excessive sour mix taste which is common with maragaritas, I think the waitress might have said they don't use sour mix in their margaritas.

We ordered the Steak “Alambre Style” (medium rare) and the Shrimp Ceviche. The ceviche tasted very fresh and had a great light refreshing taste to it. My girlfriend and I agreed it was the best ceviche we've had. The steak alambre was probably the most delicious dish I've ever had at a mexican restaurant. Tender thinly cut strip steak with melted cheese and tons of green peppers and onions. Overall I thought it was some of the best mexican food I've eaten. Keep in mind it's kind of modern mexican or mexican fusion, so if you're some kind of mexican food purist maybe you might not enjoy it.

The service wasn't great. It started out good but once we ordered our meal it went downhill. We waited a long time for the waitress to even check in with us to see if we needed anything. We asked for more chips and salsa which didn't come. After we finished our meal we waited a long time for the waitress to come so we could ask for our check. Then after we asked for our check it was a long wait again, which might have been understandable had the place been packed but it wasn't.

Bottom line great food, not great service. Still I would come back here based on the food.

not the best food. the service was good when we went there. I wanted to like it because they has a nice quiet vibe going on and the salsa was good.

This place is great! Great food, great service! I have always had a great experience here.

The food is terrible. The beef is cut too thin and is very fatty. The chicken tacos we were served were cold, the hostess group ( there were more than one) had huge egos. In their outfits, they looked more like coctail servers in a strip club. The best part of our dinner was the chips and the tiny little serving of salsa. It took almost 15 minutes to receive our drinks from the bar.

Save yourself the hastle and dine elsewhere.

The food is ordinary, the service is horrible. Carefully read the prices and your bill.

No Bueno. The service was not good and neither was the food.
